Bellini Grande 19 June 2009

Cheers, We go to this Bellini Grande with Gene's Guitar Club friends to celebrate Raymond's birthday. We mix green tea with whisky and drink champagne too. We quite like the champagne.


Not sure whether to go because clubbing is not my cup of tea and do not want to embarrass myself in front of Eugene's friends when dancing. Decide to go anyway as school is opening soon and want to just let my hair down. Got this compliment from Alvin that I look like HongKong actress... Happy

We are quite surprised as the crowd there is quite old. Some look like almost my grandparents' age and many are office nerds and uncles and aunties. We just sit there and watch their retro dance move to the songs of the 80s. I quite like the live band. Eugene and his friends go crazy as the band sings the difficult songs with perfection. As time goes, I get abit more relaxed and start to dance to the song of YMCA and so on. We leave the place close to 3 a.m. Wake up 12 plus the next day. I would say it is a good experience even though I think I won't go back there again as it is quite expensive($100 spent just on one night) and the crowd is too old for me to people watch.

The first few days at our new house.

The first breakfast that I cook for Dear. It is my school holiday and I wake up early to cook a sumptuous breakfast for gene. He is very touched. But unfortunately, I do not continue the routine, can't wake up.... :P

Doing my household chores. Usually, we wash our clothes twice a week. Dust and sweep twice a week. Mop once a week. Clean toliet and change bed sheet once a month. It's nice that Gene helps out most of the time.

Bintan Trip 12-13 June 2009

We went to Bintan with Eugene's colleagues; Yu Zhongm, Elizabeth and Shu Zhen.
Day 1: Arrived around 10 a.m., we went for a short trip outside for lunch and bought snacks.
Check-in at 2.00 p.m. , we went to the beach for kayaking and frisbee and turtle sand making.
Dinner; We cooked Yong Tau Fu Laksa. Played some card games with orange vodka for drinks.

Day 2: Woke up at 7.45 a.m. Went for the breakfast buffet. ATV at 10 a.m. I lost control while up a slope and crashed into a drain and tree within 10 minutes of the session. Fruit lunch back to the villa and went to the sports centre for laser quest. The guys beated the gals team. Snorkeling at 2.oo p.m. Our first time snorkelling, very excited. First time experience with the fishes swimming around us. Although, everywhere is quite similar and the corals are not that colourful. Got bored after sometime. We played frisbee and went for a swim at the pool. We were very shocked when we reached the villa and found out it's only 6.30 p.m. We cooked ourselves spaghetti for dinner. Went to the sports centre to play again....Eugene was angry and scolded me that I did not have sportmanship at the soccer table... ( Ya I cheated but I will remember it one lor) Went back and watched a movie on the spiderwick chronicles till 12... We went to bed.. Totally knocked out.

Day 3: Woke up at 8.15 a.m. Buffet breakfast and packed our stuff for checking out. A ride to our spa at 10 a.m. Very cheap, only $44 for 2 hours massage. I tried the hot stones, the stones were really hot. Not going to do it again. Eugene did the bintan relax (Massage and scrub). Lunch at their hawker centre. Ferry ride at 2.30. We just discovered that there is FOS shop at the terminal itself but too late got the ferry to catch.

Baby, thanks for tucking me into bed without fail everyday. Thanks for hugging me tightly every night. Thanks for putting all the pillows and booster around me making me feel safe on my holidays mornings before you leave for the office. Thanks for making my day starts and ends great with you always by my side...

5th Year Anniversary 01 May 2009

Our first anniversary celebration as a married couple. 5 years had passed since we are together.
Had enjoyed the days with you through there are ups and downs.

We celebrate by going for a K Lunch at Kbox Marina. We ordered an orange sauce fish fillet and grilled chicken. Not very tasty but our ultimate aim is to sing.

Our room enables us to see what is happening outside but the people outside cannot see us. We make comments on the people going down the escalator and hope to catch some acts of people not knowing we are watching them... unfortunately we catch none. We shop around and I see a nice checkered pink scarf costing abt $19.. beg Eugene to buy for me but he said dun waste money. But actually I like it alot and am thinking why he can't just buy it for me as an aniversary gift. Was quite angry and upset. Blackface for sometime.

After that we watch the 'Gu Gu Cat' movie at Plaza Singapura.... its quite lame but love the cat. The cat has acted well... hee. The lamest part is when the actress reveals the meaning of Gu Gu is Good Good. Almost fainted when we heard it.

We have Tebanyaki dinner... HSBC promotion , Set for 2 about $40... cheap with scallops, prawns, beef and so on.

Hope that next year will be a better one...

Superbored....

I am superbored at home now.... the holidays are ending and I feel that I have yet totally enjoy myself and done something productive...I hate that Eugene does not even bother to accompany me for lunch....just for today. I felt veri upset and having a bad headache now...
